The following is a review of our commitment to safety and quality.
Measured to the highest safety standards
The leather used in all Robeez footwear is tested to the most stringent international safety standards: European Standard EN71 and the British Standard 5665 for the Safety of Toys. Robeez leather suppliers must certify by contract that their products meet all of our safety standards, and we conduct random testing to audit their performance. The results of this testing verifies that Robeez shoes are lead-free, non-flammable, and non-toxic.
Independent testing by accredited authorities
Testing on all Robeez footwear is performed by a leading independent testing, inspection and certification agency.
Assessed for quality from start to finish
Throughout the manufacturing process, we have quality and safety measures from start to finish. From randomly testing materials from suppliers to committing on-the-ground resources throughout manufacturing, Robeez ensures processes and expectations meet the exacting standards our customers have come to expect.
Assured quality and durability too
Not only are Robeez footwear safe but also they stand up to the real test: kids. Fit testing ensures that Robeez shoes have the best fit for growing feet. Extensive wear testing ensures that Robeez shoes have the durability our customers have come to expect. And materials testing ensures that each component can handle the rigors of childhood.
* Robeez leather is tested at the Leather Research Laboratory, University of Cincinnati, to British Standard 5665 or its equivalent: European Standard EN 71 for Safety of Toys, Part 3: Migration of Certain Elements. The British Standard for Safety of Toys represents nearly two dozen industry bodies, including the Department of Health, British Paediatric Association, British Apparel and Textile Confederations, and Consumers' Association, among others.
